Last school holiday we did go to OGDC , Brunei. It is one and only Science Centre, located at Seria, Brunei Darussalam... From our house (Telisai, Tutong) it's only take about 45 minutes journey. OGDC stands for Oil & Gas Discovery Centre. The centre actually built up with the collaboration of pioneer O&G company in Brunei that is Brunei Shell Petroleum. It's actually try to help youngster to know & love science from early stage. The concept i could say same with our PETROSAINS @ KLCC, Malaysia. Of course in terms of capacity & facilities ours definitely far ahead from theirs but for local Bruneian i think this is the good start for them.
3A were really excited during the exploration & enjoyed their time there. But, unluckily we got to know about this place on the last day of school break. Arfa was most frustrated because could not take part in the traffic games as the weather during that time was cloudy (they cancel the schedule if the weather is not good). Just to get Arfa's mood again, mommy had promise him to let him join the creepy camp (it sounds like science based camping of course) on this coming 2nd school holiday in June 2012. For the traffic games insyaallah he will be on the track by end of April as per mommy promised him. They have the traffic games every weekend for the end month (2 times a month). Before we moved home....This picture describe everybody. Arfa was frustrated due to traffic games cancellation. Anis was sad & shocked because mommy shouted at her (jalan senonong tak tgk kiri kanan, mommy terjerit sbb ada kereta nearby). Ahdia was 'quite' because she felt in the grassy hole (bahaya betul - nampak mcm rumput gebu, rupa2nya lubang)....Pity them all. Mommy happy2 je...
