I had heavy flu for the past few days & terribly itchy nose. Had no sinus in my history but seriously it seem i have now (my self guessing sebab x g clinic pun). Ya ALLAH, please forgive & wipe away all my sins, Amin3x...
No new N3 doesn't mean i didn't cook @ we have no life. Laziness is the best to describe me last few days. Alhamdulilah, today i fell fresh (walau masih sneezing) to jot down my new experiments.
These meal supposed to serve during our dinner last nite but again laziness (hehe!!!) so they turn out on this bright morning. Bit worried kot2 daddy xsuka pagi2 buta mengadap 'so call' mat salleh carca marba breakfast ni( bkn sbb dia xsuka western food tapi byk cekadak dok compare dgn yg dia dah tried worldwide), but i'm so happy because he did like them (so much i think because he kept scooping the chowder in his bowl).
I copy this chowder recipe from Canadian blogger quite sometimes (dah xjumpa pun N3 dia pasal resepi ni, mungkin nama lain kot)
& the bread just follow step by step from Kenwood BreadMaker booklet. So, guys let carca marba......
Bahan2:
1 btg Carrot (dadu/cincang)
1 btg Celery (dadu/cincang)
3 biji ubi kentang (kupas kulit & dadu)
1 litre stock ayam (mommy bubuh 2 sudu besar chicken stock +1 litre air)
2 btg jagung (mommy guna corn kennel dlm tin)
500g marinara mix (campuran hidupan laut)
200ml cream
Garam (kalau guna chicken stock blh skip garam)
Serbuk lada hitam
2 sudu besar fresh chives (mommy guna dry chives)
2 sudu besar fresh parsley (mommy guna dry parsley)
Caranya:
1. Masukkan carrot, celery, ubi kentang & stock dalam periuk. Tutup periuk & didihkan stock.
2. Apabila mendidih, keluarkan sayur-sayuran tadi & kisar sehingga lumat. Kemudian, masukkan semula ke dalam periuk.
3. Masukkan jagung & masak sehingga jagung lembut (kalau guna jagung mentah lama sikit la, kalau guna yg dlm tin xperlu lama sangat. Dalam 10 minit cukup).
4. Masukkan marinara mix & masak lagi sehingga semua seafood tu lembut & masukkan cream (mommy kisar lumat juga marinara mix tu sebelum masukkan cream sebab 3A xsuka kalau nampak semua seafood tu berketul2 especially mussel).
5. Kacau sehingga rata cream & semua bahan2 & taburkan daun bawang/chives & parsley.
6. Hidangkan segera bersama roti.
Okey utk Brioche Bread plak simple je sebab mommy guna breadmaker. Kalau u all xde BM boleh juga uli dengan tangan & bakar dalam oven mcm biasa. So, mommy buat seperti berikut untuk 500g loaf:
Bahan2:
130ml susu segar
1 biji telur
80g butter
350g tepung roti
1 sudu teh garam
30g gula
1 sudu teh yis
Caranya:
1. Masukkan semua bahan2 di atas mengikut turutan dari atas ke bawah ke dalam BM.
2. Tekan programme 6 & tunggu aje siap masak (proses ni amik masa dalam 3jam lebih).
3. Bila dah masak, keluarkan dari BM & sejukkan roti sebelum di potong.
4. Bila masa nak makan dengan chowder tu, baru toast atas non stick pan. Bagi hangit2 sikit roti tu lagi 'vintage'. Bila makan, ranggup di kulit & gebu di dalam!!!

Waalaikumusalam kak. kureng sihat tapi blh lagi le main masak2. aduhai....windu gak kat akak sebenarnya. btw mmg puas hati le kak buat roti sendiri, bila ada BM rasa mcm relax sikit. itu yg meroti je ;)
